Tvat sanstavena bhavasantati  sannibaddhampapam kshanat kshayamupaiti sharirabhajam .             Akranta  lokamalinilamasheshamashu suryamshu  bhinnamiva sharvaram andhakaram || 7||


Just as the bright sun rays remove darkness, the sins accumulated by living beings are wiped out by praying you.

With the birth of devotion for the Jina the despicable forms of evil attitudes like violence, anger, greed and illusion start receding and the mind of the devotee starts glowing with pure thoughts. As the sun rises, the dense darkness recedes and light spreads.
