Previous Birth:-

King Padmotar ruled Ratna sanchaya city of Maglavati of east Videh in Ardha Pushkar Dweep. On Suitable ocassion,king padmotar crowned his son as the king & took diksha.

Birth:-

Prosperous city of Champa was ruled by Chakravorti Shri Vasupujya along with maharani Jaya Devi.Maharani Jaya Devi had a vision of 14 auspicious dreams & it was predicted that the prince to be from maharanis womb was destined to be a Tirthankar.On Mahavud Chuduss,at midnight the prince was born. Celebration,happiness & joy was spread all around.

Naming Ceremony:-

When all the elders gathered and took a glimpse of the prince,they opined that,the child had inherited all the qualities of his father king Vasupujya & was destined to make his father name immortal.So,they requested to the king that the prince be named Vasupujya.The king liked the idea & so the prince was named Vasupujya.King Vasupujya wanted to crown his son as the king,but prince Vasupujya politely refused to become the king.Father understood him & gave his son the permission to do what ever he wanted to do.

Diksha:-

Prince Vasupujya got the permission from the father. He took diksha on Mahavud Ammas.

Nirvan:-

Bhagwan Shri Vasupujya Swami attained Nirvan in Champa nagari on Aohad Sud chouduss.
